UP MSME Promotion Policy 2022 — Incentive Assistance
Graded capital/stamp duty subsidy, EPF reimbursement, and a 1,000-day inspection exemption for new MSMEs — we help you register and file the right way.
The Uttar Pradesh MSME Promotion Policy, 2022 is the state's umbrella policy for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, administered by the MSME & Export Promotion Department / Directorate of Industries. Udyam registration is mandatory for every incentive under this policy.
Key incentives
- Capital/investment subsidy: graded by enterprise size and region
- Interest subsidy on term loans
- Stamp duty: typically 100% in Bundelkhand/Purvanchal, 75% in Madhyanchal/Paschimanchal, 50% in Gautam Buddh Nagar/Ghaziabad, and 100% statewide for women, SC/ST, and Divyangjan entrepreneurs
- EPF reimbursement, quality certification/patent/technology upgradation support, and marketing/exhibition assistance
Who it's for
Any enterprise meeting the Central MSMED classification, with Udyam registration completed. A new MSME that files a declaration under the UP MSME (Establishment & Operation) Act 2020 gets a 1,000-day exemption from most inspections and approvals — a significant practical head-start most new units don't know to claim.
How we help
- Completing Udyam registration and the new-enterprise declaration for the 1,000-day inspection exemption
- Working out your stamp duty gradation based on region and category
- Filing through Nivesh Mitra, with DIEPC as your district point of contact
- If you're owed a delayed payment, filing on the MSME Samadhan portal for adjudication under the MSMED Act
