UP Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy 2025 — Incentive Assistance

₹5,000 crore investment target, 11 notified component categories, state incentives additional to the Central ECMS — we help you sequence both applications correctly.

The UP Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy (ECMP), 2025 (First Amendment) targets the electronics component supply chain — the layer beneath final assembly — to reduce import dependence. It's effective retrospectively from 1 April 2025, with benefits extending for six years, under the IT & Electronics Department.

How it aligns with the Central ECMS

ECMP is aligned with the Central Government's Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), approved with an outlay of over ₹22,900 crore. State incentives are additional to ECMS benefits — and in most cases, the state benefit is keyed to Central approval, so getting the sequencing right matters.

Components covered

Eleven notified key component categories, including displays, camera modules, and multilayer printed circuit boards.

Who it's for

  • Manufacturers investing in any of the 11 notified electronics component categories
  • Investments made on or after 1 April 2025

How we help

  • Confirming whether your product falls under one of the 11 notified categories
  • Sequencing your application correctly: Central ECMS first, state Letter of Comfort in parallel
  • Aligning your capex schedule with milestone-linked disbursement under OIMS during construction
  • Tracking your application through the nodal agency, policy implementation unit, and empowered committee

Message us your product category and investment plan, and we'll tell you — free of charge — how to sequence your Central and state applications correctly.
